Delete your STEADY account

You can permanently delete your STEADY account and all data associated with it in either of the two ways below.

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

  1. Open STEADY and go to Settings (menu ☰ → Settings).
  2. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

Email us at shivambhawsar.next@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my STEADY account", sent from the email address your account uses. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account: your profile (name, email, body stats, goals), food and drink logs, meal photos, water intake, weight history, body measurements, AI chat history, and usage limits/streak records. Deletion cannot be undone.

What is retained

Nothing that identifies you. Nutrition facts contributed to the shared food database (e.g. "1 slice whole-wheat bread = 80 kcal") are retained in anonymised form with no link to you. We also send a deletion request for your identifying analytics data (name, email, account ID) to PostHog, our analytics provider.
