These terms are an agreement between you and Shivam Bhawsar ("we", "us"), an individual developer based in India operating STEADY. By creating an account or using STEADY you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
STEADY helps you track calories, nutrition, water, weight, and body measurements, using AI to turn meal descriptions and photos into nutrition estimates, and to power an in-app AI chat for logging food and answering general nutrition questions.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use STEADY.
Everything in STEADY — calorie targets, macro breakdowns, AI chat responses, and nutrition estimates — is informational, for general self-tracking and wellness purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Food recognition and nutrition values are AI-generated approximations and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific needs. Do not rely on STEADY for medical or clinical dietary decisions, allergy management, or conditions requiring clinically accurate nutrition tracking — consult a qualified healthcare professional instead.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or via the process on our account deletion page.
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit to STEADY ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service to you (e.g. sending a meal photo to our AI provider to estimate its nutrition). We do not use your content to train our own AI models.
You agree not to:
STEADY relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, OpenRouter and the AI models it routes to, USDA FoodData Central, Google, Apple, and PostHog) described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes in these third-party services that are outside our control.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated nutrition estimates will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of STEADY. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) 100 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency). STEADY is currently free to use, so in most cases this limit will be the latter.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of STEADY will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and significant changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
